To get alot of trainer points in any nintendogs game you need to 1) buy a brush if you dont have one yet 2) open up to the place where you brush your dog (do not leave place) 3) leave your game on and dont close the DS for as long as you want and the longer you wait the more trainer points you get! (i usally leave it on for a day so make sure your game being charged)

walk your dog go through as many ?boxes as you can. once you do that go to the park and change your dog's collar. once you do that you will notice that it says it is saving your items. when it is done saving turn the power off. when you turn it on you will still have your items from your walk and you will be able to go on a walk again! if anyone dosnt get this please tell me!
